Brinda Wiita- Ph.D., MBA is a neuroendocrinologist and pharmacologist with extensive research and clinical experience in Women’s Health and Mental Health. Working with the World Health Organization, Brinda Wiita invented an intranasal contraceptive which entered clinical development. Later, she studied behavior and biological rhythms at the University of Cambridge, followed by postdoctoral research fellowships in psychiatry at the University of Chicago and Jefferson University.
In the pharmaceutical industry, Brinda held management positions in Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, and Global Strategic Planning and was involved in developing and marketing pharmaceutical products at Glaxo SmithKilne and Solvay Human Health. She is currently Executive Director of Technology Innovation and Business Development at Johnson and Johnson Consumer companies. Her focus is finding inventions which meet strategic business needs, evaluation, licensing and acquisition of technologies.
